Weekend - what weekend?

It feels like there was no weekend because it just flew by and of course I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off for most of it.  At least on Sunday afternoon we all got to relax a little at my parents house.  That was nice but not long enough. I wish everyday could be so pretty outside and so relaxing, we enjoyed a great dinner (probably the best brisket my dad has ever made) and then all rode around on the golf cart.  Too bad it was too cold to swim but hey I'll take this weather over the heat any day!  Anyway, back to another week of work and real craziness.  Kaylie has softball practice on Tuesday but she also has CCE and she HAS to go to CCE, her Holy Communion is fast approaching and I just can't let her miss anymore days of class.  Then she has a softball game on Wed. night and I think Bryan's sister and her crew will make it to the game. :)  It's really sweet that Cyndi is such a good sister and Aunt.  They always try to make it to Kaylie's events (Basketball & Softball) and of course are always there for us as well it's very nice of them and really what family is all about.

TV Shows & Husband's

I have to say I am so grateful that Bryan and I have a fairly nice relationship between ourselves and what we watch on TV.  A friend of mine was telling me today about her daily/nightly arguments with her husband about what they are going to watch and it made me realize I am so grateful that Bryan and I do not have this problem.  I think we have somewhat of a nice compromise, I make Bryan watch almost every Real Housewives known to man, Bethany Ever After (although he did throw-down on me about this show the other night), Teen Mom, 16 & Pregnant, Fashion Star, Jerseylicious, random NatGeo shows that catch my eye - I like learning about different places and the oceans, some History Channel shows, random Biographies mostly about celebrities some of which I know Bryan could care less about, American Horror Story...okay then there is E! and there are just too many stupid shows on this station to name that I also make Bryan endure.   Then there are the shows that Bryan likes...and most of those shows I actually enjoy: Deadliest Catch is probably his fav (which works out great b/c I love this show too, even though it will NEVER be the same with out Phil Harris (RIP)), River Monsters, Swamp Men, Gator Boys, that's really about all the TV shows, he really just like to watch sports - mostly football when it's on but then he also enjoys watching, golf, tennis, basketball, boxing and MMA (this is by far the worst for me to watch and I will occasionally throw a fit about it)....so I think overall we have a healthy relationship with our TV.  Or maybe it works b/c he is the one that has to watch all my stupid shows and I really don't have to watch anything I don't like.  Well you know what they say, "Happy Wife is a Happy Life"  :) 

TGIF

Yay for Friday's!  This week has been crazy mostly because of Kaylie's softball games.  She had a game on Tuesday night and one again last night.  Unfortunately, her team lost both games this week.  They were undefeated until now, with the exception of 1 tie game.  But that's okay...it's just 7 & 8 year olds playing softball and some of these parents behave like it's the major leagues!  Don't get me wrong I'm just as competitive as the next guy but some of these people take this softball/baseball stuff way overboard.  Anyway, this weekend  Kaylie has Reagan's birthday party on Saturday and then Sunday I plan to hang out at my parents pool and relax! My Dad is BBQ'ing so that means good food and time to just chill-out.  Thank God we live close to my parents.  They help so much with the girls and it's so nice to be able to drive right down the street and have free sitters and a pool all in one stop.  ;) 

Is She or Isn't She?

I hate this stage of pregnancy...it's like is she pregnant or is she just fat in the tummy?...(or in my case) has she not yet lost the baby weight from the 7 month old????  I have lost that weight though!!! I did and I worked really hard to lose it within 2-3 months!!  And I'm not just tummy fat...I'm 3 almost 4 months pregnant!!  It sucks because I'm just in the inbetween stage of really looking pregnant and actually-really-for-real looking pregnant. Anyway...I guess I should just be quiet b/c in a couple more months I will for sure look pregnant and then I will want nothing more but to not look and be pregnant!!  Ohhhhh - come on already October.!!

Another day another dollar

I was off yesterday because Kelly wasn't feeling well this weekend, mainly Sunday so I took her to the Dr. and by the time all of that was done it was useless for me to go into work.  So I'm back at work today.  I thought Kelly had another ear infection but she didn't so that was good and her Dr. thought it was just a viral infection.  She slept last night and seemed better this morning so back to the sitter she went. 

We had a busy weekend (as usual) and Thank GOD I had Nana's help on Saturday b/c it was a lot of running around and she was a big help.  Kaylie had softball pictures and a game.  My Aunt Cindy and Uncle Phil made it to the game with Nana and I so that was neat.  They got to see Kaylie play one of her best games yet...although her team as a whole kinda had an off day.  Unfortunately, Bryan had to work so he missed another game. :(  Hopefully, he will be able to make it to her game tonight. 

Despite Kelly not feeling up to par I did get some pics of her sitting like a big girl and trying to crawl!

Evenings

In the evenings after work it has been so nice outside.  Bryan has been working late every night for what feels like months...but last night he was off early so while Bryan and Kaylie played Bat Gammon (she is obsessed with that game!) Kelly and I hung out and watched.  Thanks Erin & Keith for the hat Kelly is wearing!  :)

This weekend will be a busy one, softball pictures & softball game then the normal weekend catch-up on groceries, laundry, cleaning, etc. FUN!
